The 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe is one of those cars that can intimidate even a well-schooled driver. With traction limits on the Viper as high as they are, only the skilled driver should tempt fate and explore the upper limits. On the street, the SRT-10 hugs the curb as you turn in and mash the throttle. One side of your brain says “push it harder,” while the logical side rebukes, “you really don’t want to explain to your boss why the car is sitting on a flatbed in the parking lot, do you?” The Viper SRT-10 taunts you to tempt fate but the reality is that the Viper’s limits are higher than the skill level of most drivers and can be safely explored only under track conditions.
