2007 Volkswagen Passat Wagon Review

Odd that a car with a power tailgate wouldn’t feature steering wheel-mounted audio controls, but such was the case with our 2007 Volkswagen Passat Wagon 2.0T. It was especially interesting since the ride in question cranked truly awesome sound from an optional Dynaudio sound system, which served to fill the cabin with clear, loud sound all the way to Vegas and back. Controls, among them buttons for XM satellite radio, were intuitively laid out and easy to use, and included alloy-ringed dials for volume and tuning, separate knobs for equalizer functions, and a category button for thumbing through XM selections (a must for trips like ours, where traditional radio stations are scarce).
