What's new for 2007?

Thanks to a rise in fuel prices and an attention-grabbing, otherworldly advertising campaign, the subcompact Toyota Yaris has been a big hit since it went on sale in mid-2006. Offered in hatchback or sedan format, the Yaris replaces the unloved Echo at the bottom of Toyota's lineup, coming equipped with a fuel-sipping 106-horsepower engine that is merely adequate. In terms of design and refinement, the Yaris is a big step up from the Echo.
