Less than 500 examples of the 2006 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG will be produced for the lucky few that can afford them. The hand-built, twin-turbo, V-12 engine makes 604 horsepower and Mercedes executives claim this to be the “world’s most powerful luxury car.” Exterior and interior modifications are few, with most of the changes under the skin. Most notable are the eight-piston cross-drilled brakes, modified suspension and specifically calibrated Active Body Control system.
