We need more time with the 2009 Mazda 6 to determine whether it's now the best in class. But we can say that the improvements made to the Mazda 6 for the 2009 model year definitely improve its rankings compared to the class leaders. It offers more performance than a Honda Accord, more passion than a Toyota Camry, and arguably better looks than just about anything else you'd care to mention.
