2007 Nissan Sentra Review

Nissan Sentra – Wardlaw's Opinion: Nissan's “Shift” advertising tag line creates expectations of dynamism, but the stylish, comfy, and refined 2007 Sentra is not dynamic. It's a Buick shrunk small, overlapping the versatile Versa and entertaining Altima on both ends of the price scale to render it redundant. Shifting the notchy manual transmission and working the touchy clutch is no fun, the vague electric steering makes it feel unsettled over 70 mph, the brake pedal is numb, and the suspension is soft. However, the Sentra is reasonably peppy, quite comfortable, a smooth commuter, stylish inside and out, and offers several surprise-and-delight features. Y'know, like the less expensive Versa. But not.
