An automotive duet: Lexus and Paul McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney and girlfriend Nancy Shevell hopped off a private jet in Quebec City, where Paul was performing in the city’s 400th anniversary celebration yesterday. Waiting for them was a Lexus LS600h. Coincidence? I think not. Lexus and Paul have a long history together including Lexus sponsoring McCartney’s ’05 U.S. tour, McCartney providing music for the Lexus RX400h launch, Lexus making a Paul McCartney-edition RX400h, and McCartney ordering his own Lexus LS600h for personal use. It’s one big Lexus-McCartney love fest, which again leads me to believe the waiting LS600h on the tarmac was no coincidence.
