Ford Flex kicks it off in style

To customizers, the upcoming 2009 Ford Flex is like a blank canvas. It should follow that its launch party was held this past weekend at the working-Guggenheim of the custom car world…the West Coast Customs garage (of Pimp My Ride fame). The guest list was popping with appearance by Brian Deegan, Amare Stoudemire, and Xzibit, along with the whole West Coast Customs crew. The Flex was looking hot, but my favorite had to be the Mercedes-Benz S600 Shaq is having transformed into a convertible. Yes, those are suicide doors. (West Coast has built over 30 vehicles for him).
