2007 Honda Fit Preview

The 2007 Honda Fit stands alone as this Asian automaker’s only five-door hatchback. Two large side doors and a rear gate might have looked much sportier, but that arrangement would have defeated the purpose of the Fit’s seating and cargo options. Base Honda Fits appear fairly conventional on 14-inch steel wheels, only distinguishable as a Honda by familiar styling elements. Stepping up to Sport trim yields body-colored underbody spoilers and side skirts, a rear roof-mounted wing, 15-inch alloy wheels, and fog lights. The Fit’s steering wheel paddles are also included on Sport models equipped with an automatic transmission, as are remote keyless entry, cruise control, and a more powerful six-speaker stereo with an auxiliary input for your iPod.
